I was worried about the predicted snow. But when I woke up
on Tuesday, it was just raining. When I turned on the news, it seemed like the
snow was up around I-69, so I imagine that my daughter Melissa, my niece Hannah
and my son, Jeremy, got clobbered.
So, the trip to the road with the trashcan was wet.
I walked inside in the morning.
Sidebar: My new shoes “seem” to be working, but I still had some
cramps in the later stages of my walk on the concrete.
I went to the Newburgh Grill and had a cup of their bean
with ham soup (their best, but only on Tuesday) and a mini Greek salad.
Sidebar: I don’t know what’s up with me and salads, but I seem
to crave them recently. Is it Spring??? I do know I wish I had me a bunch of
Mr. Dupee’s asparagus!!!
From there I stopped into CVS. I bought two good chocolate
bunnies, a small Dora the Explorer doll and an Easter card for my adopted
granddaughter, Yanessa.
I gave them to Vicky and, since I won’t be here, made her
promise to send me a photo of Yanessa in her Easter dress.
I walked in the back again in the afternoon. Same leg cramps
– not as bad, but there, anyway.
I left work at 5:00 p.m. and, once in the garage, I
retrieved my trashcan.
I got a photo from Vicky of Yanessa with her doll and a
thank you. Now, since this is a public website, I never post photos of other
people (or their kids) without their permission, but trust me, it was precious!
I watched the news and then putzed. When I got hungry, I ate
the rest of the ham salad. This time I skipped the sandwich route and put it on
Ritz crackers. Excellent!
I watched a couple of taped shows and then went to bed
early. I was tired.
