Thursday

It was just a little warmer on Thursday, so I skipped the jacket. It had rained overnight again, but was dry on my way into work.

I walked outside both times, but in a brisk manner, LOL! The sun played hide and seek all day. So, it felt warm when it was out and cool when it was cloudy.

I went to Time Out for lunch and got a BBQ pork sandwich (it was in big chunks, not pulled, which made it difficult to eat pretty). I swapped the fries for some broccoli cheese soup.  Both were good, but not great.

Sidebar: Broccoli cheese soup is one of those soups that everybody makes but only a handful make it perfectly. Sadly, I am not one of those few.

Then I went to Lowe’s and got some hickory chips. I hope to grill sometime this weekend, weather permitting.

When I got home, I changed clothes and treated the cat. Then I got back to cleaning the downstairs bathroom. I finished that up by washing the shower chair outside on the patio, hosing it off and letting it sit there to dry.

Jake called and we swapped war stories about work for a while.

After we hung up, I fixed myself some dinner: a small salad and a chicken pot pie.

I fell asleep watching the Rd Nose telethon.
