I was totally crippled on Father's Day. I did manage to grill a steak, some scallions and some sweet corn (I grilled some brats for leftovers during the week). I topped the steak with the scallions, buttered an ear of corn and had a great Father's Day dinner.
I was still messed up on Monday, so I stayed home. And, once you stay home, its easy to keep staying home. I eventually went to work on Thursday.
I went to the Newburgh Grille and ate a cup of soup and a gyro for lunch.
It was a damp dreary day, BTW, and it smelled like rain. But, it only sprinkled. When I got home, I realized the daisies under the mailbox were starting to bloom.
I ate the rest of the streak for dinner and did the Wednesday night wash, a day late.
I read a book until the new Mountain Man came on and then I watched that until bedtime.

Glad to hear your feeling better (if you are) Welcome back...we missed you
ReplyDeleteI am feeling better, thank you. Still using a cane, though... Lesson learned (twice now): never try and keep up with Puerto Rican women!
