Finally Friday

Friday morning it was warm and muggy. I woke up early, so I went to work early. Courtney wasn’t there.

Turned out her water had broken and she and Mike were home, waiting to go to the hospital.

So, I had a busy day!

It was also an interesting day as an A/C unit on Building 4 (next door) caught fire. They evacuated the building, so the people were standing in the street. They brought two fire trucks and the ladder one extended up over the roof.

By lunch time, it was hot and muggy. I went and got a fish sandwich and some potato and bacon soup for lunch. Then I took a long ride through Hines Park. There were a lot of folks walking, jogging and biking, but they were all sweaty!!!

I walked outside again in the afternoon, but I didn’t like it. Then I was sweaty.

When I got home, I gratefully changed into shorts and a tee. I went out back and weeded the vegetable garden. Then I weeded the raised bed herb garden.

I walked out front and weeded about half of the front garden. But, by then my back was starting to hurt, so I quit.

I ate Evy’s chicken and rice with pigeon peas for dinner. It was excellent.

I watched some taped TV shows and then checked Facebook. Christian Gabriel Esper was born 7/10/15, measuring 19" and weighing 6lbs 12oz. Congrats!

I went to bed at 9:30 p.m.
