Wednesday was the ninth day in a row we reached 90 degrees
or higher. But, this time it was the most humid.
I went to Time Out and ordered the only salad on today’s
special: chicken ranch. It was huge (of course). They put everything but the
kitchen sink on it. But, sadly, the flavors didn’t marry well. There was way
too much bacon on it (I can’t believe I just said that, LOL) and it
over-powered the taste of the grilled chicken. I ate about half of it and then
asked for a box.
The cold front moved in about 3:00 p.m. and so did the
thunderstorms. It rained hard here for about two hours, but thankfully stopped
before I left work.
A second line of storms moved in about 5:30, but that didn’t
last long. I checked the rain gauge and we got just over a half inch here. I
wish it was more, but at least the grass had turned green again before I went
to bed.
My back was hurting and the garage was stifling, so I didn’t
work in the garage. Instead, I did the Wednesday night wash and putzed in the
house.
I ate more of the salad for dinner and had a piece of watermelon
for dessert. I watched some TV and went to bed around 10:30 p.m.
When is your deadline for getting the garage cleaned?
ReplyDeleteNOT CLEANED!!! Just the alcove cleared out so Rick can work. He was hoping to get it done this week. He had a similar job on Trenton and wanted to buy all the material at once. It's not gonna happen.
ReplyDeleteI get it now. Collectively, we have short memories around here.
