There were thunderstorms overnight and it was raining on the
way into work Friday.
But it had dried out by 10:00 a.m. so I took my morning walk
outside. Instead of six trips back and forth, I did eight. My knee is
definitely back!!!
I went to Time Out for lunch. I ignored the specials and
asked for a Rueben sandwich and a cup of the chicken noodle soup. The soup was
under seasoned, but I fixed it with some salt and pepper (I have to talk with
Joe – he’s slacking) but the sandwich was excellent.
Then I bounced between the Credit Union and my bank, moving
money around. I felt like a Mexican drug lord! Then I got the truck washed. It’s
only a 30% chance of rain, so I thought I would give it a shot.
I spent the afternoon reworking the Disaster Recovery Plan.
The new VP wants scenarios of Minor, Major and Catastrophic events.
I did another eight trips outside in the afternoon. It was
now officially hot and steamy.
Back home, I treated Caley and changed into shorts and a
tee-shirt. I went out front and watered the hanging plants and one container
garden.
I ignore the window planter out back as I checked the rain
gauge and I had 1/2 –inch of rain this morning.
I then watched the evening news until 7:00 p.m.
I ate the rest of the roast beef hash for dinner. I added
bread and butter to it to make a filling dinner.
I called it good and went to bed at 9:30 p.m.
You don't electronically move money? Hmmm
ReplyDeleteGlad your feeling better.
p.s. Vickey is still NOT off the hook in my book.
LOL! I do within my Bank of America accounts, but don't know if I can at the Credit Union.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Don't piss off Vicky. Puerto Ricans are short, but they are mean!
