I took the trash out, along with the kayak cardboard box on Tuesday. It was sprinkling on the way into work and it rained a little harder once I got there.
My computer’s power supplied had died yesterday, so one of
our IT techs swapped my hard drive into another CPU. I don’t want to throw
anybody under the bus but, through a series of errors (which now seem comical),
it took almost two hours to get back up and running.
I walked outside in the damp air and puddles in the morning.
I went to the Newburgh Grill for lunch and got the ham and
bean soup and a patty melt. Hey, it’s Tuesday!
Then I went to the CVS in the same strip mall and bought the
six greeting cards I need for July (birthdays, anniversaries and one wedding).
Damn cards cost a lot of money!!!
The predicted rain held off in the afternoon, but the skies
still looked threatening when I got home and got the trash can in. So, I gave
up on outside work or grilling.
So, with the house clean, I had to make up something to do.
So, I washed down the stove and microwave.
I skipped leftovers and made a Digiorno Rising Crust Supreme
pizza (adding ring peppers and more mozzarella cheese, as always). I ate about
half of it, but definitely didn’t like it as well as their thin crust.
I watched a rerun of NCIS but then went to bed a t 9:00 p.m.
