I woke up at 3:30 a.m. on Tuesday to a loud clap of thunder.
I tried to fall back asleep, but the recurring thunder kept me awake. So, I
eventually gave up and went and sat on the couch, watching the lightning.
Sidebar: I’ll sleep when I’m dead.
I took the trashcan out to the road and then hopped in the truck.
So, I got to work early and got to work. With Courtney off
on maternity leave, I’m doing the work for two, plus several projects.
I took in my laptop. I tried to install Office 365 over the
weekend and failed. So, I gave it to Vicky and asked for her help. I told her I
wanted the Office installed and to lose the Chrome (I’m not fond of Chrome) and
to put on Firefox. I also asked her to link it with my home email.
It stopped raining before my morning walk. BTW, I left my
cane in the truck. I was going solo today, just to see how I did.
I went to Party City at lunch, because I need over-sized
wrapping paper for Yanessa’s birthday present. While I was standing in line, I
saw a Sesame Street pinata. So, I called Vicky and asked if she wanted me to
get it for her party.
She said, “No, now she’s now more interested in “Frozen.” I
can’t keep up! “Let it go. Let it go!”
Since I was over in my area, I stopped at Subway and got a
foot-long BMT. I took it back to work and ate half of it for lunch.
It rained like hell in the afternoon. I walked inside.
When I got home after work, I retrieved the trashcan and the mail. Then I managed to download the
pictures off the camera. I had researched it and found you could directly
download them avoiding the software by using the “share” button on the camera.
I checked the rain gauge and found that, despite the impressive
afternoon rain, I only had about half an inch of water in it.
I ate the other half of the Subway sandwich and then I started watching an NCIS rerun. But, I fell asleep before it
finished.
Nice find on the camera setting. Stupid Kodak.
