I woke up on Saturday morning with my right arm numb. I didn’t
give it much thought, figuring I slept on my arm wrong or something.
That was until I went to grab my coffee off the Kuerig and
it dropped out of my hand. Fortunately, it didn’t break. But cleaning the
coffee off the cupboards, fridge and floor was a pain.
Oh course, the first thing (at my age) I though was that I
might have had a stroke overnight. But, I didn’t have any of the classic symptoms.
So, I went back to bed. I spent the day either dozing or
watching DIY shows. The ToDo list was completely ignored, as was running
errands. Luckily I had made that pizza Friday night. That and cucumber
sandwiches were my weekend meals.
Sunday morning, I could pick things up, although it still
felt numb. I made some scrambled eggs for breakfast. I did a load of laundry,
then I went to bed again.
I switched from DIY shows to a Mountain Man marathon (I had
eight episodes taped) and that was how my Sunday went.
About 6:00 p.m., I got tired of being tired. So, I swept and
vacuumed the whole house. I moved the kitchen chairs and the little rolling
cart into the living room, but then decided washing the kitchen floor seemed a
bit much. So, I ate another cucumber sandwich and went back to bed.
I hope your arm feels better and I'm glad you rested up this weekend.
