Mild Monday

Monday’s weather was a copy of Sunday’s. In fact, the next eight days are supposed to be copycats. Sunny, with lows in the 50’s, high’s in the low to mid-70’s and no rain. Sounds more like June!

Sidebar: sounds great, but we do need the rain.

I went to Big Boy for lunch and, on a whim, ordered a chicken Caesar salad. It was excellent! Not only was it perfectly proportioned for me, but it had just the right amount of dressing.

Sidebar: Big Boy has the second-best Caesar dressing of all the chain restaurants I know. The first being Red Lobster.

When I got home after work, I treated the cat and changed clothes. Then I went outside.

I had to dig out more dirt to fill in the void between the flagstone and the original garden. 

I had two bags of mulch left, so I weeded a much smaller area and spread that.

Before

I was back inside just in time to take a call from my friend, B___. It’s been a while, so we talked a bit longer, catching up.

It was almost 8:00 p.m. when we hung up and I didn’t feel much like making the dinner I’d planned. So, I made a fried egg sandwich and called it good.

Didn’t see much on TV that sounded interesting (why do I pay for cable?) so I read until 9:30 p.m. and then went to bed.
