Wednesday was a near classic pure Michigan fall day. After a
cool, somewhat hazy morning, the sun shone brightly all day and it warmed up
nicely.
I went to Ten Yen and got one of my two usual lunches. This
time it was almond chicken. It was as delicious (and filling) as always.
From there, I went to Bed, Bath & Beyond to get some charcoal filters for my humidifier and found they moved! What?!?
But they only moved to a strip mall on Warren Avenue, next to the Burlington Coat Factory, so I didn't have to go very far.
When I got back to work, i mentioned that they had moved and Courtney said it happened about six months ago. I guess I don't go there as often as I sued to.
I was very tired (what else is new?) in the afternoon.
I finally got home from work.
Sidebar: It gets darker earlier every day, making it “feel”
like I get home later and later. I know, I know. It’s stupid. But that how it
seems…
At 6:26 p.m., there were a series of either gunshots or
fireworks close by. I was not inclined to investigate.
I warmed up some more of the meatloaf (I froze the rest) and
the other baked potato for dinner.
I watched my taped NCIS New Orleans and my brother was
right! It was excellent.
I went to bed just before 9:00 p.m.
