I left for work early on Friday. Last night, while driving home, the low gas light came on. I didn’t feel like stopping then (just wanted to get home). So, I filled up on Friday morning. It was overcast again, but still warm.
Sidebar: we are supposed to hit 60 degrees on Saturday and
break the record on Sunday!!!
Courtney brought me in two packages of chicken leg quarters
(they buy meat bundles and never use all of these up). I’ll turn them into stock
and chicken noodle soup over the weekend. She also brought in donuts from the
Looney Bakery! Thanks!!!
It was Vicky’s birthday, so Michelle Pace and I took her to
lunch at Red Lobster. She and Michelle then went to look at Vicky’s new truck
and I went back to work.
It was a long afternoon. But, it finally ended and I headed
home.
I treated the cat, changed clothes and emptied out the
dishwasher. I spent some screen time making the ToDo list and the grocery list
for tomorrow after the news ended.
I ate the last of my leftovers (I’m saving Evy’s chicken
with rice and pigeon peas for Saturday’s supper).
I didn’t feel like watching TV, so I read in bed until I got
sleepy. Then I turned off the light and called it a day.
