It was freakin’ cold on Monday. Felt like January or
something. Got out the heavy coat and my gloves and headed to work.
It wasn’t supposed to snow much around here, but it started
around 10:30 a.m. and just kept on coming!
I went home for lunch (I had to pick up the prescription I
dropped off at CVS). So, I popped in next door and got a quart of chicken fried
rice (the real stuff, SC).
I ate some of that for lunch and then headed back to work.
The snow was beginning to taper off, but the roads were still slippery.
I got home after work and got my ass inside.
I used the last of my Red Pelican mustard to make a roast
beef sandwich and ate it with a pickle and some chips.
I emptied the dishwasher and washed the pots from yesterday’s
cooking marathon. Then I took the rest of the night off.
This working for a living can be tiring!
