Munday

The "low" temperature when I woke up Monday morning was the same at the 'high" on sunday: 19 degrees. It had snowed a little overnight and even the main roads were slick.

I went to Ten Yen for lunch. I decided to try something different and ordered their chicken fried rice. The won ton soup, egg roll and hot tea were excellent, as always. But, I was disappointed in the fried rice. It tasted like they cooked it a tad too long. First time I was ever disappointed there!

Of course there was way too much of it, so I took the rest home in a take-out box.

My eye doctor's office called and let me know my new glasses were in. I told them I'd get them on Tuesday.

Back home, i started assembling the garbage for tomorrow.

When I got hungry, I warmed up the rest of the fried rice. Still nowhere as good as the little take-out place next to CVS makes.

On a whim, I watched the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. It was on FX and had lots of commercials, so I didn't get to bed until 11:00 p.m.
