It was cold again (9 degrees here, but colder in the suburbs) on Thursday. Which wasn't too bad, until the wind picked up...
I went to a new restaurant I wanted to try. Actually, the restaurant isn't new. It opened a while back, then closed and stayed closed for several years. It's reopened and called Mary's Grill. It's on Plymouth Road between Middlebelt and Inkster.
I got the chicken noodle soup and the meatloaf. The soup was good, but not great. But the meatloaf was excellent! And, the mashed potatoes were real! I added that family-owned restaurant to my list.
The afternoon passed slowly.
The wind was really bad going home. But, I braved the wind chill to fill the feeders once I got there.
Once inside, I stayed inside.
I warmed up the sausage and sauerkraut for dinner. Then I watched the Red Wings get their butts kicked. I went to bed around 10:00 p.m.
What did the restaurant used to be?
ReplyDeleteI don't remember the name. It's about 500 feet west from the edge of B50 property and looks like a house.
