I didn’t set the alarm on Saturday. Why? I always wake up at 5:30 a.m. anyway, right? NOT! I woke up at 8:30, skipped shaving, took the world’s shortest shower and got to my massage 10 minutes late. I told Margaret she could skip one leg, but she didn’t.
Naturally, there was no Blog posted.
From there, I got my haircut and went to Kroger’s for a big
grocery shopping.
I stopped by Costco, but there were no close parking spots.
So, the squirrels will have to wait for their peanuts.
I unloaded the truck, got everything put away and took a
nap.
Jake called and woke me up. We talked for a while, mostly
about work.
I baked a DiJorno pizza for my dinner for my dinner, I didn't have any pepperocini (why wasn't that on my list?) so it was kind of boring. Then I read until bedtime.
When I woke up on Sunday, I cooked the rest of the pork sausage
links while baking a roll of Pillsbury biscuits in the oven. I made
mini-sandwiches and ate way too much!!!
I did all the Sunday morning chores, thought about doing
some real work but then decided to read in the living room chair. I’m so close
to finishing this book!
My daughter Melissa called and we talked forever! Seriously.
I checked the phone when she hung up and it was at 1% of the battery!!! I put
it on the charger. I saw I had a couple of text messages, and I apologize. I
couldn’t respond. The phone was crapped out
I had planned on a big Sunday dinner. But, it was late and I
wasn’t all that hungry. So, I made a Braunschweiger (liverwurst) sandwich with
wimpy Mister Mustard hot (not) mustard.
I can’t get good hot mustard around here anymore… Sigh…
I also like to eat it like my Dad did, with butter. But one
sandwich was enough. Forgot the pickle and chips would have been nice but, oh
well. Next time.
I watched a couple episodes of Barn Wood Builders and then
went to bed.
What is Barn Wood Builders?
