It was in the mid-fifties on Thursday. There was a possibility of strong storms between 3-6:00 p.m., but I took a chance and didn't wear a coat to work.
Courtney had taken the day off, but stopped by in the morning with her two boys and a box of donuts. Cute kids, but they are so quiet!
I went to Ten Yen for lunch and got the almond chicken. As usual, I couldn't eat it all. But this time there was so much left I asked for a box and took it with me.
It was warm and sunny, so I took a drive down Hines Parkway before going back to work.
It still hadn't rained by the time I went home after work (thank God).
I took the tags off my new pants and washed them. I took the old pants off their hangers and put them in a garbage bag to take to Goodwill.
I warmed up the rest of the almond chicken for my dinner. Nice break from taco salad, LOL!
About 7:00 p.m. the wind picked up, signalling the approaching cold front (chilly weekend ahead) and the rain. It stated raining around 8:00 p.m. There was occasional lightning, but nowhere near the "severe" storm they had been forecasting.
I watched some taped TV and went to bed by 10:00 p.m.
Cute kids, but they are so quiet!
