I woke up early on Saturday (like always). I tried to fall back asleep but that didn't work, Finally, at 6:00 a.m., I turned on the news.
It's supposed to be brutally hot today (okay, so not by SC standards, but still...) and rainy. So, after I shaved, showered and got dressed, I headed out.
First stop was the corner gas station. Jesus Christ! I spent $2.69 per gallon!!!
Sidebar: I checked the mpg when I got home. Still at 15.5 mpg, which is normal for my city driving but hard on my wallet! Whose idea was it to buy a damn pickup? Oh, yeah. Never mind...
Next was Kroger's to pick up a few things.
Sidebar: No, Jake, they don't sell Duke's sausages here, yet. I might try the Kroger's on Ford Road. They carry stuff that the one in Livonia doesn't.
Sidebar #2: I went to their website when I got home, figuring I'd just order some from there. When I clicked on the "original" I got this message: "Out of stock due to popularity... We can't craft batches fast enough!"
From Kroger's, I went to Westborn. I got some sweet corn to grill on Sunday, some grated Parmesan cheese and a very expensive chunk of Blue cheese.
Sidebar: I have been craving blue cheese...
Next stop was the Huntington Bank. I wanted to know EXACTLY when I will pay off this stupid PMI insurance.
Sidebar: They don't have to tell you when its done. They just keep billing you and that ain't right.
But there was nobody there.
I did get a phone number to call next week. Apparently, the people I need to talk to don't work on weekends.
Then I went to Home Depot. I got two new furnace filters and some Miracle Gro fertilizer.
Finally, I stopped at CVS and picked up five prescription refills.
Back home, it took forever to unload the truck. But, I got 'er done!
After I put everything away, I took the sheets out of the dryer and remade the bed.
The rain never came, so I started watering gardens, containers and so on. I was tired, so, when I finished watering, I took a nap.
I warmed up the moussaka for my dinner. It was delicious!
I read in the living room until bedtime.
“I wanted to know EXACTLY when I will pay off this stupid PMI insurance.”

Thanks! Ended up much more complicated than I thought. The bank is just the "representative" of FHA, so I had to send them a fax. I am waiting for their response in the mail. But, you know the government, LOL!
