Thursday

I mixed the dressing with my macaroni and fixin's before I left for work on Thursday.

It was a gloomy day, with occasional showers but no real rain.

We had the Building cookout at noon. The burgers were perfect and I ate a little of everything (except for my macaroni salad and all the desserts). Needless to say, I overate.

Sidebar: Big shout out to whoever made the taco salad! It was the best I ever tasted!!!

I gave my leftover macaroni salad to my boss before I went home.

I said I skipped the many desserts and I did, but I took a piece of the Tres Leche cake home with me.

I checked the rain gauge when I got home. It was sprinkling again when I did but, sadly, there was less than a 1/4 inch of water in in. Damn! My grass does look better, but I need a real rain here.

I spent some time cleaning up the kitchen, running a load in the dishwasher and doing the Wednesday wash (a day late).

I warmed up some of my leftovers (sweet corn and summer squash) for my vegetarian dinner.

Sidebar: I forgot the cake in the fridge.

I watched some TV but went to bed before 9:30 p.m.
