It rained hard here Monday night through Tuesday morning. I took the trash out to the road before leaving for work. In addition to the trash can, there was a garbage bag of debris from the drywall demolition.
I went to lunch at the Newburgh Grill. I had a cup of the ham and bean soup (my favorite) and a mini-Greek salad.
Then I went to Lowe's and returned the extra drill bit, so I got my $18.00 back. I turned around and spent it (and more) on a work light that costs $29.00.
Sidebar: I know Jake left me one, but it's in one of the boxes, somewhere.
It rained occasionally, but not long or hard in the afternoon.
Sidebar: This damn humidity is wreaking havoc with my arthritis! Both my knees and my left ankle are killing me.
So, when I got home, I got in the trash can and the mail. I treated the cat, took an extra Celebrex and quit for the night.
I did go out back to check the rain gauge. I officially got 1 1/2+ inches of rain here.
Sidebar: Some places got over three inches of rain. The news was filled with stories of flooded freeways, abandoned cars and people with flooded basements. So, I'll settle for what I got, thank you.
I ate two more brats and the rest of the coleslaw for dinner.
I watched the Olympics until I fell asleep.
What's the work light for?
ReplyDeleteWorking on the wiring in the garage. The overhead lights are on the same circuit as the plugs I need to tun off.
