Slow Sunday

It had rained overnight and was still raining when I woke up Sunday morning. Plus it was much cooler (20+ degrees). It was supposed to stop sometime in the afternoon, though. So, I decided to put off going to the grocery store, yet again.

My back still hurt from yesterday's outdoor work, so I went through the Sunday morning chores s-l-o-w-l-y.

Jake called. We haven't talked in quite a while, so it took a while to catch each other up.

It finally stopped raining around 1:00 p.m. and the sun tried to come out.

I decided to just stay home and hurt, but in between watching the Lions lose and the Red Wings lose (bad day in the D for sports), I washed the bedding and the last load of the weekend wash. I mostly stayed laying in bed.

I made pierogies with sauteed onions for my dinner. Still can't find my beloved Mrs. T's (no, Carl, neither of my Kroger's carry them anymore), so my Sunday supper sucked.

I shut off the TV and read until bedtime.
