We had about three inches of snow on the ground when I took the trashcan out Tuesday morning.

It was a little slippery driving into work.

I went to Big Boy for lunch and got a cup of chicken noodle soup and a half-sandwich of turkey on multi-grain bread.

It snowed off and on all day.

I forgot to mention that Lenore brought me in some soup on Monday. I also forgot it at work. So, today I brought it home. She called it Zuppa Toscana. It had Italian sausage, potatoes, onions, etc. in a broth that had a cup of heavy cream in it.

So, I warmed that up for my dinner. It needed salt (her husband has heart problems so she doesn't use salt) but it was excellent. I want to get the recipe!

I watched the Red Wings lose and then went to bed.
