Tuesday's Tale

It was supposed to be warm and rainy by Tuesday morning. Instead, it was a heavy mist and cold when I wheeled the trashcan out to the road.

But it started raining here around 9:00 a.m. and then it poured!

I went to Time Out for lunch and got a grilled chicken breast with a side of macaroni salad. The chicken smelled awesome and tasted even better!

Then I went to the CVS on Newburgh and got some birthday cards.

Sidebar: I got soaked both times, just getting from the truck to inside.

The rain had eased up a bit on the drive home after work. I got the trashcan and the mail inside and then treated the complaining cat.

I went out back and refilled the squirrel feeder and tossed more seed on the ground. The stupid birds still don't use the new feeder!

I warmed up more of the shrimp scampi for dinner. I ate that watching the news.

Sidebar: It finally warmed up to a record 56 degrees, BTW. But not until about 8:00 p.m.

I watched NCIS and then switched to reading until I fell asleep.
