Saturday

I set the alarm on Saturday. I had a 9:00 a.m. appointment at my dentist for a cleaning.

Sidebar: I hate getting my teeth cleaned, but who doesn't.

It was still raining when I got done at the dentist office. But, I needed some stuff from Kroger’s (just down Ford Road), so I got wet walking in and out of the store.

It was more of a mist than a rain by the time I got home. While I was unloading the truck, I noticed how pretty the crocus out front looked. So, I took a photo of them.

 I saw the hyacinths were coming up nicely.

Finally, I took a photo of the emerging tulips.

But the biggest surprise was that daffodils had already bloomed! They were beat down some by the rain, but still looked pretty.

It was after 1:00 p.m., so I made a quick chicken sandwich, started the weekend wash and went to take a nap.

After my nap, I started washing the windows so I can finally install my burglar alarm system (I've been paying on it for two months now).

I let those dry while I hung up or folded the first batch of clothes.

Then I watched the evening news, a couple of taped shows and was alseep by 10:00 p.m.
