Tuesday

It was damp and chilly on the way into work.

My new glasses should have been in by now, so I called the eye doctor. They said not that they knew of, but they would check today's shipment. Lucky for me they were in there!

So, I left for lunch at 11:00 a.m. (when you go at noon, one or more of the women are at lunch so, it takes longer). It was raining (of course), so I got wet walking into the place. It took just a few minor adjustments and I was out of there, making the long journey back to work.

I stopped in at Time Out to say goodbye to Amanda. She gave me a hug (of course) and wished me a safe journey.

Around 1:00 p.m., the sun came out! Just my luck!

When I got home after work, I started filling my suitcase.

Sidebar: I am flying down to Jake and Carla's Wednesday morning.

I set up the three kitty litter boxes and set out extra water for the cat, then gathered up what I could pack tonight.

I was done in time to eat the last of the linguine with clams while watching NCIS. Then I set the alarm and went to bed.
