Monday, Monday...

It was cool and cloudy Monday morning, but it did eventually clear up and warmed up.

I had a late lunch date at 2:00 p.m. We had agreed to meet at Archie's on Plymouth Road, so I drove through all of the construction. But, when I got there, I found out they are closed on Mondays. I sent her a text, letting her know. She suggested Duly's instead. Duly's is at Plymouth and Merriman, so I drove back through the mess.

Duly's is an old school diner and has been there for years. I got their potato soup and a side salad. She just got a burger (light onion, pickles and mayo) and a shake.

The afternoon passed quickly (I should take more late lunches, LOL).

I left the truck outside and changed clothes. I got out the saw horses and the track saw and cut out the top for the toy box.

I swept up the sawdust and pulled the truck back inside.

It was almost 8:00 p.m., so I watched the rest of Jeopardy while I ate two more hot dogs.

I fell asleep watching the Voice.
