I talked with Scott Pace (my heating and cooling guy) He said my house's square footage (1,300 sq. ft.) is just a little bigger than a two ton unit, so he will bring over a two and a half ton unit and install it on Saturday morning. He apologized for not being able to do it any quicker but said he had a lot of jobs scheduled between now and then. I told him not to worry, I won't melt.
I had a cheeseburger for lunch. A vendor came in for a meeting while I was out and brought lunch. So, when I got back, Lenore had saved my a turkey and bacon sandwich, a pickle, a bag of chips and piece of Grand Traverse Bay pie (cherry crumb) for my dinner. Thanks!
It was 81 degrees in the house when I got home from work. I went out back to check on the vegetable garden and found that some critter had been feasting on the newly planted eggplants!
I ate half a sandwich, changed my shirt and left. I decided to join Amanda and her mother, Fran, at the air conditioned bingo hall. for the evening. I had fun again, but didn't win anything, again. At least I was cool!!!
We left around 10:00 p.m. and it was noticeably cooler. So, when I got home, I opened a couple of windows, turned on the bedroom fan and went to bed.
