Then it was Thursday...

Thursday started out cool, but soon got hot and muggy.

I had a side salad with raspberry vinaigrette for lunch.

Back home after work, there was still no sign of the promised rain. So, I hand-watered all the container gardens and the mailbox garden.  I watered the raised bed garden with the rain wand and then dragged the hose out to the vegetable garden. I hooked up the square head sprinkler, turned on the hose and went inside. I set the kitchen timer for an hour.

I ate the rest of the steak and sweet corn for dinner while watching the nightly news.

When the timer went off, I got up to shut the water off. It was pouring!!!

I got soaked shutting the water off and had to change clothes.

I watched TV until bedtime.
