Saturday night...

Well, I set up Newt's new home this morning. I have been feeling bad ever since I saw the setup Petco had for their newts. It was a 20 gallon long aquarium with sloped stones so that the newts could walk around a bit. Newt's always only had just a rock to sit on. Decided that before he dies, he should be able to walk around like the wild newts probably do. So, Friday, I picked up a $10.00 10 gallon aquarium (hey, he's just one newt, okay?) and the rest of the stuff. Had to laugh, I deliberately went to PetSmart as I have a card there. Got a whopping discount of $0.30 on my purchase. This morning, I set it all up and threw the old aquarium away. Check it out in photographs.

Did all the laundry today. Last night's big snow storm was a bust! Went outside to check on the "Big Snowstorm" last night (around 3:30 AM, BTW) and it was raining! This morning, it was sunny and there wasn't enough snow here to cover the grass. It all melted by noon. I suppose somebody got dumped on, but it sure wasn't Redford. So, with all the sun, I got the itch to barbeque (okay, a bit weird, but how many times in Michigan can you barbeque on January 21?)

So, went over to Farmer Jacks and got a whole chicken. You can see the results in photographs, again.
