It's cold outside! Yesterday, it was like 60 degrees F with rain and terrible thunder. Then, late last night, the front moved through and the winds kicked up (25 mph sustained, gusting up to 45 mph!) Temps been dropping all day (right now at 6:00 PM, by my thermometer, it's 26 degrees F) and the wind chill cuts right through you! Supposed to be like that ALL weekend!
Not sure what anybody else is planning, but I stopped at the store on the way home and picked up some eggplant and 18 large eggs. I ain't going out, I'm cocooning (that term sorta fell out of favor, didn't it? It was big back in the late '90s).
After last weekend's marathon "flea" housecleaning, I plan on doing the bare minimum this weekend: Laundry and maybe (just maybe) sweeping the kitchen floor. I noticed that, while busting your butt working on Saturday and Sunday may give you a sense of accomplishment, it doesn't leave you rested and refreshed on Monday.
Yeah, right... takin' a little "me" time, this time...
