Catching you all up...

Haven't posted a lot in while. I'd like you to believe I was sooo busy or sooo interesting or something, but, truth be told, I've just been lazy. So, an update (part 1)

Last week when my friend Tracey and Samson (her Pomerian) were over, I was in the kitchen or someplace and she had to pound on the door (I don't even have a door knocker). If you knew her, you would know, she pounded so hard I thought it was the villagers, coming for Frankenstein's monster. I thought, "How unlady-like," but then I thought, "Well, you didn't give her any other choice!"

So, Saturday morning, I went to Home Depot and picked up a wireless door bell for $17. By trial and error, I found that if the base unit's in the kitchen I can here it anywhere (including the garage). Installed the push button TWICE! First time it looked great, but it was too close to the metal lip of the screen door and the cover wouldn't go on (Grrr). So, did it again. Used my handy-dandy portable drill again (I really am coming to use that a LOT, and now wish I'd hadn't bought such a baby, underpowered one. I got it last Fall up in Richmond for $19. But, it's okay. I've bought my power tools allotment for the next five years or so...)

Anyway, Now I can let my lady friends act like ladies...
