Went out to dinner with Tracey. We both had something to celebrate: me buying the house and her buying a brand new Ford F-150 extended cab pickup!
Went to a place in Plymouth called Station 885. It's an old train station, converted into a restaurant. Neat murals on the wall, a long HO gauge train that runs around the walls near the ceiling and, sure enough, twice while we were having dinner, real trains went by (so close you could only see just a part of them)! Good food, good company, good celebration.
Got home around 7:00 PM and went and pitched more leaves into the newest garden. Haven't quite figured out what to plant back there. Was thinking of a rock garden with herbs, but I don't have any rocks!
Hmmm... I'll have to think about this...
What is a "HO gauge"? If it is what I think it is, I have a few candidates.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, thank you for spelling gauge correctly.
LMAO! Not that kind of "HO"!
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, it shows I'm old. I'm not sure exactly when the "u" fell out of gauge, but I miss it!
So what is it?
ReplyDeleteHO was the second gerenation of train sets. The first used three rails, with the middle rail providing the power. HO gauge used only two rails and was a bit smaller as I recall.
