I slept in until 7:30 AM, then got busy. After a shower and shave, emptied the dishwasher, made my grocery list, then went outside and dispersed the 4 bags of mulch I'd gotten yesterday. Watered the grass seed and took some pictures for your viewing pleasure.
Decided rather than pitching the forsythia branches I'd forced, I'd try and get one to root (Luanne has done that before). So I dug out the sod, added some slow-release fertilizer and then some potting soil in the hole, and watered it. Then I just stuck the branches down into it. I'll let you know if any (or all) take root.
Also added the slow-release fertilizer to the mailbox mini-garden and the tree box, along with more potting soil.
After posting this, going grocery shopping and picking up some prescriptions (a man's work is never done!)
And, that's me, up to date!
