Saturday morning, over easy...

Woke up this morning to a wonderful sound... The sound of rain! Yes, it was a gentle rain falling. Even though I stripped the bedding and started a load of wash, I decided NOT to jump into all my ToDo projects. So, I fried up some bacon. I was going to go with the traditional bacon, eggs and maybe grits breakfast, but my plum tomatoes from the back garden caught my eye. And, I ended up making a BTL sandwich on toasted sour dough bread. EXCELLENT!

Still in my robe, I made coffee and drank a cup while sitting on the couch, reading and listening to WCSX's "Over Easy" program. The rain stopped about 10:00 AM, so I decided I should get moving as well. Shaved and showered, then went off on some errands. Oh, almost forgot! I checked the rain gauge and I had about 1/2 inch of rain. My gardens, my lawn and myself all thank you, rain gods!

First the bank for some money, then Home Depot for some brown paint that matches my trim (remember, I added a wood strip that I caulked to the garage door opening? Well, now it also has to be painted brown.) But, I am thinking I will wait to paint until my arm and shoulder stops throbbing.

Then got a tank of gas and stopped at Farmer Jacks to pick up some items I am out of. Came home and unloaded.

There are two indoor projects today that I am focusing on (there's about 15 indoor/outdoor items on the list, BTW): Clean out Newt's aquarium and really deep-clean the bath tub/bathroom area.

So, now that I've caught you up, I am off to get to work...
