Decided the grocery shopping and the few errands I need to do could wait until Sunday. So I stayed home all day. Well, I did go out to get the mail and to fill the bird feeder.
The wooden beads are now on the Christmas tree and the "back" of it (the side that faces the window) is all decorated. That meant I could push the table it stands on against the wall, put the carpet back and put the chairs in their right spot. Hopefully the rest of the tree will get finished soon.
Meals, too, were casual today. Other than breakfast (scrambled eggs) there was no sit down eating, rather it was "grazing" while working, reading or watching TV. The food consisted of: the rest of the roast beef, eaten cold with salt and snacked on throughout the day; two toasted cheese sandwich (at different times, of course); tuna sandwich (tuna, chopped vidalia onion and mayo, served on a lettuce leaf, on toasted sourdough bread).
Work was a series of small chores and projects. No big thing to crow about, but the number of things I accomplished was satisfying. All in all, a good day!
