Wednesday night

Wednesday night, I stopped on the way home for three more big cans of refried beans (I have to supply them for the potluck staff Christmas party).

So, since my trial batch of them was a little too "warm," I got out my stock pot and made three large cans with the correct recipe (4 ounces of canned, sliced Jalapenos, one teaspoon of garlic powder and one + teaspoons of red hot sauce) then added two more large cans of refried beans without anything to temper it a tad. Warmed it up and put as much as I could in my old crock pot.

Jake and Carla stopped in to take the license plate off the car and put the signed title and keys in the glove box. They donated it to a charity and they are supposed to pick it up on Thursday. They didn't stay long, as Carla has to make a 7 layer (or was it 12 layer?) Mexican dip for tomorrow.

Made potato cakes out of leftovers for my dinner. Called Mom and found out she has already committed to go to Joe and Kathy's for Christmas dinner (I was gonna drive out and make it at her house). So, I'll pick another day during the Holidays, I guess.

Melissa called. Dave's Mom was back in the hospital so they were down here for a day, but she's doing better and they are back home now. Watched TV and went to bed.
