Boring Tuesday

I think I finally figured it out. It's Tuesday itself that's boring, not me!!

Took out the left over steak and decided to make Quesadillas (couldn't find a recipe for steak quesadillas, so made it up). First I sauteed a sliced onion and a chopped red bell pepper, added in some chili powder and cumin, chopped Jalapeno peppers, then cut the steak on the bias against the grain into thin strips. Threw them in the pan to warm up.

Melissa called at that point, so we talked briefly (20 minutes or so), then we hung up. Got out two flour tortillas, spooned some of my mixture in the middle and topped it liberally with shredded sharp Cheddar cheese. I am assuming, but don't know, that the cheese melts and glues it together. So, oiled the pan again and toasted the tortillas. Cut it into wedges with my pizza knife, then ate it with salsa and sour cream. Not bad!

Watched TV and went to bed.
