Thursday Night

I had to stop at Farmer Jack's and pick something up for the weekend, so I did it Thursday on the way home from work. It's going to get WAY too cold this weekend, and I plan on hibernating!

Changed clothes and back routing the table. Finally got it done. Not the nice, tight fit I was trying for. If this was a piece of furniture, I'd be a little disappointed, but it's a workbench and its okay.

Next, I put down a plastic drop cloth and covered the bench several times with linseed oil. Looks great! Smells weird! I'll let that soak in overnight.

Now its 7:45 PM, so I abandon my plan to put the table and accessories on the band saw. I'm tired and HUNGRY! Popped the leftover bratwurst in the microwave, got more bread, mustard and onions, put everything together and went off to watch TV. I was going to do a load of laundry, but everything I took off the workbench is on top the washer and dryer, so I'm gonna just do it over the weekend, I guess.

Watched two taped shows (Boston Legal and House) and then went to bed. I'm not sure why, but I slept soundly through the night. I suspect it could have been the linseed oil fumes...
