Tuesday...

Drive to work was bad. Snowing again (little tiny flakes, but a lot of them) and the roads were not plowed or salted in Livonia. Snow did taper off around noon and did not reappear, so going home wasn't bad.

Got out the stock pot and reheated it. Meanwhile, I'm chopping and dicing vegetables, then sauting them. I had poached some chicken breast way back when for something and had the two I didn't use in the freezer. I thawed them out and shredded them for more chicken. Put it all together, tasted it and re-seasoned it, added half a bag of wide egg noodles, then let it simmer.

Next, I lugged the workbench out to the garage. I got it all sanded, but blew out my back again doing it. Had to use the Dremel tool to enlarge the holes for the wood chisels (they were just a hair bigger than the " dill hole I made), but its good practice for pipe carving, I figure.

Opened my new toys, and yes, they will all fit on the bench (whew!) But, I can't hard-mount the hobby vise and still have room to work. It did come with a suction base, but I'll need to mount a plastic or metal square to the table so it can suck.

I talked with my Mom. She was so intrigued with the tortilla pizza idea she's put the makings on her grocery list so she can try it. She said the doctors have removed all her bandages, so she's feeling a lot better.

Finally, it's dinner time. Very, very good! I especially like the herb mixture (this time, I used fresh thyme, finely chopped, fresh rosemary, a lot of fresh chopped parsley and a couple bay leaves).

After cleaning up, it was almost 9:00 PM and I figured if I started watching TV, I'd just fall asleep. So, I read a book instead (and fell asleep!)
