Well, this morning it was 26 degrees F. when I got up at 7:30 AM and Lake John is now John's ice skating rink!

Made bacon, eggs over easy and grits for breakfast. And, although not traditional breakfast fare, I had some mushrooms that were on the edge of going bad, so I fried them and some sliced onions in the bacon grease as well. "Heart Smart?" I think not...

Started out by doing a number of small clean-up, pick-up tasks. I'm not sure why, but there is "stuff" everywhere. I need to get my house back from "stuff!"

Then, I got back to the bathroom sink. I wish I could say it was easy (it wasn't) but with the new nut and rubber washer, I finally got the drain installed with no leaking!

Figured as long as I was there, I might as well start cleaning the bathroom. I just sprayed the shower door with the anti-soap scum stuff when I heard the garage door slam! It was Carla and Jake. They had just got their license plate in the mail and needed some tools to install it. We chatted for a bit (luckily I remembered to rinse off the shower doors while we talked - its ugly if that stuff dries) and then they left.

I decided a nap was in order. I slept for two hours!

When I got back up, I got back to cleaning the bathroom. Finished it up around 7:30 and decided I really didn't feel like making a "big" meal, so I grilled hot dogs on the two-burner grill pan.

Watched TV until 11:00 PM, then went to sleep.
