Wednesday

Wednesday, I went the hardware store at lunch and bought all new drain pipe for the bathroom. I even bought a couple extra of those tapered washers, knowing from past experience how easy it is to lose one.

I stopped at Murray's Auto and got a bottle of fuel injector cleaner. I try and add that to my tank everytime I change the oil, but forgot to on Saturday. Dumped it in when I got home.

So, I changed clothes and turned myself into Plumber John! Installation was easy, until I got to the pipe in the wall. Getting the metal nut off was a chore, but what's worse is I found it takes a flat, rubber washer. Cleaned the old one up as best as I could, tightened down the nut, and, you guessed it, it leaked!!!

So, another night/day of not using this sink, until I can get back to the hardware store.

I was tired now, because to work on my sink, you must lay on the floor next to the toilet and the drain is right next to the inner plywood of my sink cabinet. Very akward!

So, for dinner I just cut up a ring of smoked sausage and added it and a chopped onion to some Zatarain's Jambalaya Mix. While that was cooking, I did a load of clothes (remember, all my towels were used to mop up water yesterday).

Watched TV at bit, then read until bedtime.
