I checked the Internet during the day to see if I could find out troubleshooting tips for my air compressor. I didn't find any, but did get to the Bostich site and found out two things. I have a one year warranty if the store warranty has expired and there is a repair place near my house. So, I called there asking for troubleshooting tips. The guy I talked to said, "Is it the model blah blah blah?" and I said, "Yes!" He said, "Well, I can tell you what happened, you broke a valve. I have two of those compressors here right now, waiting for parts. I shouldn't say this, but that's the crappiest compressor they ever built! I can fix it for you, but there's no telling how long it will last before another valve breaks!" Now, I am REALLY unhappy!
So, the first thing I did when I got home was to dig out the Lowe's receipt. I bought it on May 6 and it has a 90 day warranty! Hurray! I'll take it back, get my money and buy a good compressor!
Well, the plan tonight was to cut in the walls in the kitchen. I had just started when Melissa called. We talked, but this time we talked too long. When we hung up, I realized how late it was and since I had to water the grass seed and grill dinner, the kitchen painting got put on hold.
Watered the front and back gardens and the seeded areas of grass. Then I took three buckets to the back and watered the roses (which are showing signs of life now) the tomatoes (growing like weeds in this heat) and the rhododendron (which still has no signs of emerging blooms, although the one at work has been blooming for a week now - did I buy a dud?)
Remember Saturday's entre "40 cloves and a Chicken"? Well, both Jake and Carla told me to save the oil and the now-roasted garlic cloves, so I did. Tonight I added about a cup of white wine vinegar to it and used it to marinade three bone-in pork chops. I grilled them, along with six bratwurst for some other dinner and heated up one of the leftover baked potatoes (also from Saturday's dinner). Very tasty!
I read until bedtime.
