Pet Peeve #342

I notice as I become more and more of a curmudgeon, there are more and more pet peeves. But, I digress...

#342 - People at a drive-up ATM who get done with their transactions, then sit there while they put away the money, card and receipt in their wallet or purse (purses are the worst - you must have a lot of zippers or something in them).

For God's sake, take two seconds and pull ahead one car length, then put everything away so the guy behind you can get to his turn!

  1. I'm not a fan of this behavior either.

In fact I spend a lot of time preparing to drive up to the ATM beforehand so that I'm not one of "those guys".

I also find myself getting nervous in "U-Scan" lanes at the store, mostly because I'm worried that I could be more efficient. My wife thinks this a little silly but perhaps if people were more conscious of other people things might be a bit better.
