I picked up a plastic paint shield on the way home. No way am I going to take a chance on taping fresh paint again!
When I got home I took a fresh look at the wall, then took a razor knife and cut just below all the places where the paint had pulled off and scrapped the paint back to that line. Then I prepped the little tiny area above the kitchen window that I never painted.
I was really hungry so I decided to forego the 10:00 PM suppers I've been eating and eat at 6:30 like real people do. I warmed up the last two chicken thighs and the last baked potato watching a taped TV show.
Now back to work! I opened the can of wall paint and painted above the sink, then I used the shield to carefully paint the hallway walls where the paint came off (all in all, it was about a 6-foot stretch and right at the top where it meets the ceiling). Looks pretty good!
Then I made mixtures of water and Miracle-Grow fertilizer in my watering can and watered all of the container gardens. Finished that up in the dark. Got cleaned up and went to bed.
So when are we going to see the before and after pictures?
ReplyDeleteThe suspense is killing me!
Here's the problem: You have to have an "after" to take before and after pictures. I'm not done with the "after" yet. Hopefully, it will be done by Monday night, and I will proudly post the before and after pictures.
