I stopped on the way home to pick up the stuff I need from dinner. I have a hankering for French dip sandwiches. When I got home, I hauled out the sprinkler and began to water the front lawn again. So, everything I do tonight (until the watering is done) must be within a 20 minute timeframe! Not so simple!!
I called Lu back. She made it home safe and sound and all her critters are still healthy. Then I called M________ back. She's understandably going a bit nuts trying to get everything packed before October 11 (that's when the moving truck shows up).
I made dinner and it was delicious! I finished watering at 8:30 PM (in the dark) came inside and watched some TV before going to bed at 10:00.
John, why are you still watering nightly? My garden / grass is fine....only watered once this week (other than the pots...)

I wouldn't, except that Tru-Green Chemlawn (who I've used since I started back renting this place) just laid down the winter application of weed and feed and they said to water heavily to work it in.
