Work seemed to drag on forever! Well, Fridays or the day before a Holiday, they always do. Combine the two, and you got trouble!
It was still above freezing when I got home, so I went up into the attic to look for a empty box (I save them, you see) and found on that's not perfect, but will do. I did get a call from my Brother Jim about the soup (as I previously posted).
I got a couple of magazines in the mail, so I sat in the living room and read them until after 7:00 PM.
Not sure why, but when I thought about dinner, I thought about one of my Mom's favorites, Tuna and Peas. Simple enough, warm up a can of drained tuna mixed with a can of cream of mushroom soup and some peas (I suppose a con of those, too, but I use frozen) Serve over some wide egg noodles and enjoy. So, that's what I did.
Cleaned up the dishes and went to watch TV. I fell asleep early, but woke up in the night, unable to get back to sleep until about 4:00 AM (but, that's okay, because I don't have to go to work for 9 days!)
9 days...
[Big grin on my face]
