My brother Jim just called. He made sure to ask Mom about the soup. She said so far, they have just served her the Beef, Mushroom and Barley soup and that it was good.
Good? GOOD? I was hoping for at least "outstanding" if not "superb" or "incredible," stopping short of "it was so good, I almost died" of course! (Hey, at her age, I don't want to cause any problems or be blamed for anything, if you know what I mean!)
Good? [sigh]
She has not had the Roasted Potato soup yet, so Jake will just have to wait...
Maybe he'll luck out and get "it was pretty good!"
