I got home, expecting to do more painting, but when I checked the soil in the container garden, I found they needed water. So, I changed my clothes and then watered everything. I checked the gardens in back and, while they don't need water, the rain we've had recently has certainly multiplied the weeds!
By the time I got back inside, it was almost 7:00 PM and it seemed too late to start opening cans of paint, etc., so I decided to take a break tonight. I admit I am a bit sick of the mess my house is in (so are the cats - all their favorite places to snooze have stuff on them!) so I really need to get this done and the house back in order!
I warmed up two of the barbequed chicken thighs for dinner and watched TV until bedtime.
