Thursday's Tale

(Yeah, I know. I use that too much, too! But after years of doing daily posts, you run out of fresh titles, lol!)

Thursday was hot and humid, but no rain. So, after work, I treated cats, changed my clothes and went outside.

Tonight's task? Get the grass cut before the rain returns on Friday!

So, I gassed up the push mower and checked the oil. Then I cut the front lawn. Next I gassed up the riding mower, checked the oil and cut the back forty. No time for any trimming, but at least the bulk of its cut and it looks nice.

I put everything away and locked up. When I checked the clock, it was just after 8:30 PM. Didn't feel much like making supper, so I just heated up a can of Dinty Moore Beef Stew.

All that walking tuckered me out, so I went to bed early.
