Two weeks since my operation

I woke up at 6:00 AM on Monday. I was hungry, so I warmed up some of that sausage gravy and ate it over two ripped up crescent rolls.

I wrote and posted the Blog and, by 7:00 AM, I was sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee, watching the world go by as the sun rose.

About 9:30 AM, I went outside to water the new grass. Inside, I worked on little things I needed to get done.

I took a long nap in the afternoon. Jake called to let me know he and Carla would be coming over after work with some food.

So, they dropped off some fried chicken, collard greens and black-eyed peas along with a big slice of cornbread. We visited for a while and then they left.

I fixed myself a plate of food and ate dinner watching some TV. The food was great (thanks, guys!)I went to my chair early to get some rest.
